Spot The Station

In 2019, Adidas partnered with the International Space Station's National Laboratory to develop new technologies in running shoes. Despite the enormous PR coverage that this alliance received, we now had to generate awareness about this union's first concrete launch: the Ultraboost 20. A game of thematic tennis, but still without innovations or significant differentials resulting from the partnership. To not frustrate the public's expectations, mostly what would still be produced, we had to launch this sneaker in an extraordinarily relevant and creative way. Our insight was to bring ISS - something so distant and unattainable for the consumer, to launch the sneaker into the hands of the public.
